EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson hobbled into the locker room with a ski mask covering his head and a protective boot surrounding most of his right leg on Monday.
After a second-quarter exit from an apparent right foot injury in Sunday’s loss at Baltimore, Peterson had X-Rays and a MRI procedure that ruled out any ligament damage or major break of his foot.
But the NFL MVP still needs to go through more tests on Monday to know the full extent of his injury.
